The Drama 11/12 students are proud to present “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” a satire by Anita Loos. When Daddy gets called away on business, Lorelei and her best friend, Dorothy, are left to embark on their overseas voyage to Europe alone. With the level-headed Dorothy by her side, Lorelei, a young, blonde flapper eager to meet an “intriguing gentleman,” navigates through a series of misadventures, from lost travellers’ cheques and engagement rings to run-ins with lawyers and suffragettes. However, all ends happily for both girls in the aptly named “city of love.”
