In partnership with Ellison Tours, some of our senior (grade 11 and 12) French students will visit some amazing highlights in Paris and surrounding areas– the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Sacre Coeur, the Champs Elysées, have a cruise on the river Seine, and even a visit to Versailles. We are also then taking a train down to the South of France to stay in Nice, from where we’ll visit Monaco for the day, and on another, have a day-long exchange with the students’ French pen pals in a small town called La Seyne sur Mer, right on the south coast! For the past few years, our French teacher has partnered with a teacher at the school there. The students going are excited to meet people they’ve been writing messages to! It’s a great opportunity for some real-world community connections, language application, and cultural immersion!
