ABOUT THE AUCTION
The Annual ACS Auction is one of our favourite community events of the year!
The ACS Auction brings out our whole community for a day filled with fun including a carnival style kids corner, fresh breakfast and lunch, bake sale as well as live and silent auctions. All proceeds from the auction are donated to school, a tradition since it first began.
Did you know?
- The first ACS auction was held on Thanksgiving weekend in 1981.
- For over 30 years, the auction was held at the Ag Rec at Abbotsford Exhibition Park. In 2022, the auction was moved to the middle/secondary campus.
- Our auction includes cattle sales. They are donated by community members and sold at Abby Stockyards.
- Over 200 volunteers help make the auction a success and support ACS.
