LET’S RAISE THE ROOF!

Our elementary campus roof needs replacing, and we’re inviting every member of our ACS community to come together to make it happen!

As part of the Drive to Revive project work, we learned that replacing the elementary roof was far more urgent than originally thought. Initially, we planned to complete this portion of the project in 2026, but due to worsening conditions, we must proceed this summer to ensure a safe and secure facility for our students and staff.

The total cost to replace the roof is $450,000, and our goal is to raise these funds without incurring additional debt or pressure on our annual budget.

We are thankful for a group of generous donors who have already contributed over half towards our goal! But we need everyone’s help to raise the rest!

STUDENTS DOING THEIR PART

It’s not just the adults who are helping to raise the roof—our students at all three campuses are involved as well! At the elementary school, students are running laps to “Race” the Roof, earning points to understand the significance of $450,000 and how generous our amazing community is in providing them with a safe place to learn.

As for the middle and secondary students, they will be part of the Loose Change Challenge, a friendly competition to see which campus’ coin donations weigh more. Students will find out about it later this week, so keep it under your roof…we mean hat!

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!

While the students do their part, we’re asking the adults in our ACS community to help finish the job. You can double your impact between April 17 to May 9, when every donation made to Raise the Roof will be doubled, thanks to a donor willing to match up to $25,000!

Just like a good ol’ barn raising, let’s raise this roof together!

Our Drive to Revive Project is step 2 in our plan to keep our facilities up to date and relevant for modern 21st century teaching methods.

Step one has been completed through the recent completion of a $26 million expansion at our secondary campus. This was made possible through the generous support of our community contributing over $12.5 million in gifts!

Step two of our plan: enhancing and refreshing the facilities at our elementary school. Investing in these upgrades ensures that our facilities will continue to be accessible for many more years, for families that desire Christian education for their children, as ACS partners with them, just as we have for over 70 years.

This includes exciting new projects like an outdoor classroom and expanded playground and more. By participating in this project, your financial gift will directly contribute to:

• Creating new multi access learning spaces
• Building a new outdoor classroom to be utilized by all grades – COMPLETED!
• Improve Physical Education space, creating more playground areas, and enhance learning environments
• Renovations to interior and exterior of building
• New HVAC installed for better air quality and climate control
• And more…
