Mrs. Pool drove students to many events, including the 1974 track meet. ACS took home the trophy, held by John Pool and David Kruk, grade four students.
Students used to high jump into a pile of donated pieces of foam, supposedly held together by some nylon netting. This was a huge improvement from high jumping into a pit of sawdust! (1975)
